There’s so much to the art of design that it’s always going to involve a constant process of change, and with technology advancing everyday the possibilities are endless. I remember the time when most, if not all tattoo artists, myself included – out of convenience relied on Myspace to present their work – and now it’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. But the biggest issue with relying on social networks is that you sacrifice creative direction over the platform itself, and throw away the ability to deliver an experience that is focused and unique. If you aim to achieve consistent quality, it must exist in every step of the process not just in the work.
